Stripey Blanket

This pattern was one I found on pinterest, and I loved the idea. Each row (or two or three) is a different color, and decorative stitches are thrown in along the way. As a throw blanket, it's fun and the perfect size, and the color choices are endless. Visit here and here to see the post.

I would make this blanket again, because it goes quickly, and I love double crochet!

Flower Afghan 

A pattern I came across that had the white flower edged with green, and then a pastel color as the border. I added, for my own design, another row of white, and a narrow row of that same pastel color. Then I added a few more rows of white to make the squares larger.
All of the stitches are double crochet, except for that narrow row of pastel, which is single crochet.
Also, I used a size H hook for all the rows, except for the white edging, which I used a G hook.
The flowers are a bit looser in the center, but the white border pulls it all in tighter, so it holds together better.
A scalloped edge was crocheted along the edge as the final stitch. And of all the scalloped edges I've crocheted, I like this one best: one stitch of the scallop per space on the blanket.

So fun to make, with so many fabric colors and patterns to choose from. Not to mention it's a free-for-all when it comes to designing!

Pink and Gray Pot Holder Set

I decided to make up a few sets of pot holders; one of those things you don't realize you need until you're baking!
I didn't realize how much fun they are to make, until I began (a while back). These are definitely not the first ones, and for sure aren't the last.

This set includes two square pot holders, measuring approx. 6-1/2 inches. Pink print fabric on the front, solid gray on the back. Machine washable and dry-able.

Pink Rosebud Baby Quilt

This Pink rosebud baby quilt is made of cotton and hand quilted. The center panel is bordered by white lace and white satin. A flower garden design is quilted on the rosebud panel, with irregular lines quilted on the pink border. The edge is machine stitched with a decorative flower stitch. This is my original design.

Machine washable. Measures 38" x 41"

Dish Soap Apron

Everyone wants a little decoration in the kitchen while washing dishes!

This apron is made of cotton, lined with a heavy interfacing, and edged with lace. It is kept in place with an elastic lace band that slides on and off easily, and is machine washable. Two little bows adorn each side of the "waist." (click photo for larger view)

So cute and decorative! You'd definitely want more than one of these to add spice to the kitchen!
