Each Quilt....
| Each quilt or baby quilt I make is hand quilted, with limited machine stitching on the binding. I use a cotton/polyester blend fabric (unless otherwise stated) for both quilt tops and quilt backings, and either a traditional see-through polyester batting or a dense, blanket-type polyester batting. My baby quilts and throws are always machine washable, and are made to withstand a wide range of activity. |
By Design
| All of the items on this site are custom, original designs. I have been quilting for many years and enjoy creating non-traditional baby quilts that have their own style and personality. It's hard to compete with the commercial, character-based themes and standard designs available in department stores. However, for those who appreciate the hand-made aspect of a quilt, nothing can take the place of an original, one-of-a-kind baby blanket or throw. |
